Jeffrey D Brown is a creative strategist, media producer, and founder of TrueMarket Group, the company through which he’s launched and led an extensive range of entrepreneurial ventures, digital platforms, and brand experiences over the last several decades.

Jeffrey has spent most of his life developing content, building businesses, and helping others do the same. His work spans publishing, marketing, design, events, and digital media. He’s been a magazine founder and publisher, a podcast host, a media consultant, a platform builder, and a storyteller. But his most consistent role has always been as a creator of ideas, tools, processes, and platforms that move things forward.

He’s well-known for his work within the vast guitar-related universe. His firm, GUITARpr, has supported guitar-related companies and careers with media and marketing solutions since 2008. He is also the creator and publisher of Guitar Business World, a forward-thinking newsletter and podcast focused on the business side of the guitar world, which has been a passion of his for many decades.

But his experience extends well beyond the guitar niche, having guided numerous companies, creators, and small businesses of all kinds through the maze of growth, transition, and reinvention.

At this stage of the journey, Jeffrey’s mission is clear: To simplify the complex, to make the invisible visible, and to help people do meaningful work on their own terms.

The Destination Workbook is a reflection of that mission — a collection of insights, tools, and frameworks built from the inside out. It has already resulted in the creation of a spinoff based on Chapter Eleven in the book called Resimplification, as a robust newsletter, podcast, and website.

He has lived and worked in Southern California for all of his adult life. His most cherished accomplishment? Being a dad. There’s nothing better.
